F.A.Q

Do I need experience or some minimum level of fitness to join Rock Creek CrossFit?

Absolutely not! Our workouts scale to any level. Your trainer will monitor your progress and will scale your workouts to maximize safety and get you the best results.  All we ask is that you try your best during each workout.

I have/had an injury. Can I still do CrossFit?

Many people have successfully used CrossFit to rehabilitate from injuries. Our trainers are happy to work with you to scale and design workouts that will enhance your recovery, and allow you to improve in ways you may not have though possible. Remember, don’t let what you can’t do keep you from what you CAN do!

What if I don’t want to be an athlete, I just want to be healthy?

Then Rock Creek CrossFit is for you.  We believe that fitness, wellness, and pathology (sickness) are measures of the same entity: your health.

I am really fit and would like to skip the Fundamentals Course, can I do that?

Our policy is that all of our members must complete the Fundamentals course before being allowed to enroll in group training sessions.  If you feel you are already competent in the fundamental movements and would like to skip the Fundamentals course, you can arrange for a skills test session with one of our trainers.  If you are visiting from another CrossFit affiliate and/or can demonstrate your experience in CrossFit, then you are more than welcome to drop in as long as you contact us in advance
